The challenge

By the time a disease is recognised and an expert is consulted, it has often spread across the field and to neighbouring farms. Extension staff cannot visit every farmer.

Our approach

  2. Train a compact vision model that runs on low-cost Android phones, even offline.
  3. Connect results to an advisory assistant grounded in approved agronomy guidance.
  4. Aggregate reports into an outbreak map for the FPO and extension officers.
